The Project
Bendigo Toyota is central Victoria’s largest Toyota dealership offering exceptional service and facilities. As a key part of the dealership the work shop floor needed to reflect the state of the art image of the dealership, hold up to the daily demand on durability and meet the Toyota Safety OH&S requirements. The demand on the facility to continue to operate was a challenge, to ensure the workers were not affected by the product application and to maintain a business as usual approach.
The Solution
The busy workshop could not be closed to complete the floor replacement, as a result the floor installation was executed in two stages. This allowed minimal disruption to service.
Nitoflor FC150 HP 100% solids epoxy floor coating was selected as the best system to meet the requirements: a floor that can cope with chemical attack, mechanic tool box transfers, vehicle traffic and ease of cleaning of spills.
To prepare the floor and fill any level differences Nitomortar 903 & Nitomortar F4 Fillers were used. A primer coat of Nitomortar 903 was then applied to seal the existing substrate and allow maximum adhesion of the coating.

- Available in a range of Light Reflective colours to improve light transference throughout the workshop areas
